TCS still does not know about new installation of FORS2. This will be fixed
by first received PRESET. This is a software configuration feature
that does not introduce any problem but at the same time does not look
nice.

General Comments
----------------
first night of Comm2. Bad weather conditions (high humidity) made
no possible any testing on sky.

Fiera:		updated to OCT99 release. OCT98 kept in spare disk.
Setups:		CCD cryostat mounted after decontamination 
		some slit masks mounted
Dewar refill:	yes

Other day- and nighttime activities:
- aligned CCD
- measured focus offset for V_BESS 
- images with SIEB masks
- measured slit parallelizm
- problems:
  - exposure shutter did not open during exposure (2x)
  - wheel 3 failed during setup of V_BESS from free opening (3x)
  - very often the exposure shutter is not closed at beginning of the
    readout (e.g. image focus_V_SR.8.fits, only for small pinhole????)
    check the last focus... images!
